Paint me, paint me

Paint me, paint me

Janis like jaundice is yellow today,
her analogue twins ted-hued her
that way.

Make mummy a flower
she said – And they did; daffodil
dull, fulvous fermented, stripped
to the waist, errant-husband demented.

Daub me in dark goldenrod my beauties,
buff up my blonde, lemon chiffon my nose
paint me like a school bus til daddy comes
home.
